I was just doodling before bed last night, and I didn't
mean it to turn into a blatant Melodies From Mars copy, but
somehow it ended up sounding like it (I think!)

Memories From Scars

Not gothcore as the title might suggest.

Actually, listening again, sounds like a mix between M from
M & the Come To Daddy ep... I think.

Sounds like the theme to two gay giants playing ping pong
using humans as paddles.

I give this track a -2/10 on a scale of -7/10 to 2/10

Sorry if I hoodwinked you - I'm sure there's a bit in it
that sounds like one of the Melodies from Mars. I think
there's also a bit of an RDJ-album vibe about it. It wasn't
intended that (wasn't even intended to be anything; I just
started toodling before bedtime and bang, a coupla hours had
passed). Anyways, it has a little bit of charm to it I
feel.

w M w : an astute observation as usual!

It's not bad...I don't think the beat suits it, it would
have been better with a straight heavier (possibly 808)
sounding beat to it. A plodding drum sequence would also
sound better than the rapid trigger you have used (obviously
in my opinion only). It was quite nice though.

My original intention was to have a straight beat underneath
it: then I was going thru some percussion samples I have,
seeing how each one sounded, and I came across that one, and
made a couple of fast fills in it, which I liked, so decided
to keep it: I should probably have either nixxed or at least
toned down the delay on that kick.

Cheers for the listen, Lee :)

flower children fading

An virtual-acoustic number based on a chord sequence I was
strumming on my guitar this afternoon. Sounds quite nice.

Autumn Mist

Another (actually made before the initial spam) AFXy track.
Same formula more or less.
