I read in a interview that Bola helped Autechre in the early part of their music making carreer. His music is not very good though! I listened to his new album today and it is very slow and boring. |

I like Bola's work, he's like a more relaxed Autechre, but no less inventive. |

He's a lot more musical than many of his peers. He knows how to write a good melody. Just because it doesn't necessarily break boundaries doesn't mean it isn't any good. He's a producers producer, me thinks. |

waknut is not a cd version of shapes with bonus tracks though.. shapes was released last year and has old tracks from the 90s, waknut is new material that (afaik) he created after gnayse. |

Not that much of a fan that I'll trawl the net for a Bola fan-boy site. Sorry for being behind on this, I'll discipline myself and make sure I try harder in the future. |

although the bola releases are so far under the radar you barely know it's released.. there's no hype, advertising, and sometimes they just release without telling anyone :s |
