forget?

newspapers, tv, internet, billboards, radio commercials and
most likely a few people around you have been screaming
VALENTINE'S DAYYYYYYYY since feb 1st, if it wasnt januari.

forgetting about it would be an accomplishment.

woohoo it's almost time. I'm going to send an immensely
cheesy email with a huuuuge pixelised rose to the girl that
is so pretty that she leaves me in a state of utter blissed
out confusion every time i see her.

A dozen red roses to be delivered to my wife at work...

$139! Thieves!!!!

But then again, small price to pay to make her feel special
at the office......... usually she's the only one to get
anything, so makes me look good.......

and she's taking me out to dinner tonight.....

Mine has been shit so far. I had a row with my girlfriend
and then crashed my motorbike at 60mph. I expect the bill
for both to be costly.

A bit of road rash and a bruised hip, slightly sore
shoulder. Nothing worthy of medical attention, but I expect
to be sore for a few days (these sort of injuries usually
hurt the most the day after). I was wearing all the proper
kit (including armour) and thankfully it did its job. Will
be pricey though, need new leathers top and bottom as well
as the repairs to the bike. A car driver and a trucker were
sound and blocked the road to stop traffic and checked I was
okay. A lot of car drivers were fuckers and as soon as I
crawled onto the central reservation (I was in the outside
lane) they started driving again, stranding me in the middle
and on the opposite side of the road to my bike.

I feel like such a spanner, I was tired (little sleep
following argument with gf) and aware I wasn't riding
particularly well. I pulled the front brake too hard when
slowing down (unneccesarily as I was a long way off the
vehicle in front)and locked it up (most bikes, mine
included, don't have ABS). I'm just glad I wasn't doing
anything stupid at the time/going faster (it's not often
that I'm 10mph under the speed limit in decent
conditions)/no one else was involved. A colleague told me
there was another (more serious) bike accident on the same
bit of road minutes later. Makes me wonder if there was
something on the road like diesel/oil.

(So u can solve that affair with your girlfriend)

things into perspective etc..

Yes, it does make the argument seem a bit petty. It would
have been an awful way to leave things with her, had the
accident been worse.

I've got a Filla Brazilla record like that. The sleeve looks
like a tesco value product too.

As an aside, does anyone here (Taffs, obviously) celebrate
St. Dwynwen's Day instead of/as well as St. Valentine's day?
