I just can't get enough of this song over the last few
days. New Order has release some damn fine songs throughout
the years!

The_Funkmaster in "Saying something interesting and
demonstrably true whilst restraining himself from moaning
about receiving unfair treatment"
SHOCKER!

Well, thanks for bringing to everyone's attention the band
New Order. I predict this thread will contain 33% of
responses preferring Joy Division, earthleakage coming back
from the grave to say "Confusion" is actually a good track
and not awful, 1% saying Revenge were underated and no-one
saying that their last album is their best ever even though
I really like it.

Regret is one of my favorite songs all time I would say...

Republic's a great album that gets unfairly lukewarm
reviews, the whole of side 1 is full of instant classic pop
songs "regret", "Spooky", "World", "Ruined in a Day" and
side two contains the more contemplative "Special" (my fave)
and "Avalanche".

I will stay in your thread, I'm sorry.

I bought the Revenge album second-hand, on vinyl for two
quid out of curiosity. Fucking terrible.
"We live in peace, in peace, always live in peace."
It sounded liked they'd knocked it up in about the same time
it plays for. I wasn't expecting anything and was still
dissapointed.
Nice pervy Peter Saville sleeve though.

It is one of those unbelivably bad records by someone you'd
think would have more sense. I believe there's a secret
track at the end of the CD that has the charming Peter Hook
shout at you to turn the fucking record off. Or is that
Monaco, no, they were a bit better, that "What do you want
from me?", not bad.

Blue Monday is being used to advertise Mars Bars.
Awesome.

Get ready made me beleive in NO once again, but I never
bothered listening to the Sirens Call. How was that album?

It's better IMHO that Get Ready, again it gets lukewarm
reviews but I think it's a very solid New Order album up
there with the best of them, pretty much all the songs are
good whereas Get Ready for me was a bit thin on goodness,
Sirens' maybe a bit more poppy than we're used to. But I
rate it 8/10.
