I don't know! I'm not a fortune teller. But you'll die for
sure, don't worry.

isn't there something about the alcohol getting "priority"
in your system so that the antibiotics just pass through as
well? Either that or it's just counterproductive to get
drunk while you're supposed to get better.

few drinks?'' ....the docotor answered '' You would be
floored,very dangerous''

bastard woman scaring me into a sober world.

What antibiotics are you on? It is largely a myth that you
can't drink alcohol with antibiotics, it shouldn't have any
effect. There is one at least that has a problem with
alcohol but I don't think its one that doctors give out.

it's not a problem, except that with the intake of alcohol
your liver will work harder then normal, and the antibiotics
will be taken up faster then it is supposed to. instead of
working for 12 hours it might loose the effect after 4
(dunno, wild guess).. it does not fuck up the whole cure i
think, only temporary.

a doctor at unicamp told me this when i was going to
carneval in salvador while beeing on antibiotics after an
infection with meat eating parasites.

Alcohol does NOT affect the antibiotics at all, at least
that's what my doctor tells me. Alcohol does, however,
affect your LIVER and so does the antibiotics. The liver is
a really, really important organ so I guess most doctors
don't mind the myth about alcohol fucking up the antibiotics
cure if it can keep people from drinking...

alcohol dehydrogenase breaks down alcohol, and cytochrome
oxidases break down most antibiotics. two unrelated enzymes,
so it shouldn't have much effect. in theory. drank a lot
while on antibiotics once and my eyes turned yellowish,
however. dont do it just to be safe.
