today i made a sound collage thingy with a friend. it's a
mix of found sound, live drums, cheesy drum machine and
video games. some other stuff as well, i think. it's just
for fun. made with laughs.

(also made with a cheap external microphone, so it's mono
and doesn't sound good on headphones.)

sendspace link.

I liked it a lot - the low sound quality enhanced it I
thought: shame it wasn't longer, I'd like to hear it develop
into a full piece.

I liked it - I'm a fan of this type of stuff; when I first
left school I used to make 45 minute tapes of me improvising
on piano (using the pedals and the casing itself for
sounds), detuned radios, and household objects - it was
great fun.

yeah, i know what you mean. it's just a type of pure fun
that you rarely get in the adult world (not including sex).

Pure Fun sometimes seems to be forbidden in the "adult
world". I understand it, since at times I too get wrapped up
in the "Being Adult" death-trap. Sucks.

Started off promising, but that "serial killer" is too loud,
and on a couple of bars, it repeats too many times for my
taste. Then it got boring. Until about 1:20. And then it got
great until about 1:45, The remainder of the song is kind
of mediocre except for the very end which is cool.

I think if you kept the beats going and changed them often,
this would be a great track.
