lovely individual!

It makes me want to put on a curly wig and be awesome like
they were in the baroque period! The third line that comes
on is wonderful, and with the sound it makes me think it
could be in one of those old Indiana Jones games.

.

It's called that for a reason.

Also, I have percussion, but only because I felt the song
lacked the drive that was essential to its circusness
without.

I thought I'd have another bash at it:

Lamp Tilt. It has a beat!

That's one funky laid back piece of jazzification :D I love
the groove it creates, and the percussion backs it up very
nicely.

haha, can you identify the part I recorded while drunk?

I'm guessing it was the part where your head fell on a
cluster of keys for the solo :p

I'm guessing you mean my baroque ornamentations, which I
used in the first track also? I thought since we're writing
three-voice polyphony I would use techniques used by the
most awesome of Baroque composers, mr j s bach ;|

hahaha, yeah

the main problem was that I wanted to go higher, but the
keys ended, so the culmination of the upwards progressing
chords was a bit.. stumped.

oh, and you aren't limited to three voices.. do as many as
possiblw without crossing your own desires.. or something,
you know what I mean.. hopefully.

I'm not sure if I'm ready to progress past three voices -
it's a big step into the unknown! I'll probably give it a go
tomorrow evening once the young 'un is tucked up in bed.

where no marlowe has gone before!

utilise said young 'un for a track! isn't that what they're
for?

She's hard to command at the best of times; I'll wait til
she's a bit older and then utilise her amazing vocals --
although at the moment she's more suited for screamcore !!

I've been listening to Lamp Tilt on repeat
since I posted it here - it's a piece that just keeps on
giving & giving.

2nd song by you that made me laugh. Music for a fat biker
dude. When it got 'jazzier' the chosen notes were odd and
off but that only added to the humor. The main melody sounds
great though.

It's fantastic like the others. You should 'autechreize'
something like this.

The Ballad Of You & Me

Kind of folksy with a slightly off-kilter melody line.

A Walk With Thee complete with eerie echoed percussion
to give it an ambient landscape as big as the Sahara!

This does technically have 4 voices, too!
