I can't get over how intricate and amazing the melodies are
in this.

i just had to tell someone. that is all.

main melody drops at 0:50, 0:52-0:53 is full of repeated
notes, however towards the end of 0:53 and into 0:54 the
pitch of these notes changes very slightly, by a semitone or
something, it's only barely noticable.. it's these little
things that make it so good..

i'm sorry but are you suggesting that this track is 'shit'
in your opinion, because it is made on ableton?

From which of the four words I used did you draw the
"therefore it's shit" conclusion?

However, I'm not saying it isn't shit, because I fucking
hate it.

i can imagine making this, and having to listen to it over
and over cause it would sound sweet at first then boring

the phase invert/panning parts are a little obtrusive

I think he's good. He's not just following the "let's chop
up an amen and stick a 303 squiggle over the top" route of a
lot of lesser talents. There is something quite sexy about
his stuff, you could imagine getting down to it at a club,
with y'know, girls and that.

it rests in an odd, uneasy zone between "intelligent" dance
music and real dance music.

sometimes i love it, sometimes it doesnt quite hit me as
hard.

It's OK. A bit plaid-y, but not as cloying. The mix is muddy
and maybe that's a plus not a minus.

B to B+ ish

yeah, i know what you mean. all of the sounds sound like
they're sticking together. at least it's better than
whatever plaid is up to right now.

sadly, that's pretty easy to do.

actually, after listening to it again, it reminds me more of
early . . .

chris clark.
