Anyone familiar with this album? I never hear Tipper
mentioned anywhere, but The Critical Path is great.

Crunch 1 is the most fantasticness thing since sliced cirrus
clouds; I havn't heard critical path but have heard of it.

Hmm no idea man. I really don't know much about Tipper,
which is why I made the post -- given the album's quality, I
would expect a little more coverage on him/her/them.

Tipper is 1/2 of crunch. labels affiliated are musik aus
strom, colony and maybe others. Get crunch 1. It's as good
as autechre's best material.

try holding pattern and also surrounded
the guy is sooo good imo, really top-notch productions, and
he can vary styles easily

check out Minimal Thoughts Of Reason, the last track on
holding pattern, to give you an idea it's pure class! but
the album is varied

the newer one relish the trough is more like weird
orchestral pop with vocals, futurist production and effects

The critical path is the longest route through a series of
dependant tasks. It's used by managers on long projects to
work out the quickest way it could possibly be completed.
It's also tedious, soul destroying work.

No idea about the music.

"Tip Hop" is really good. Very well produced and fucked up
enough to appeal to the IDM heads as much as the hip-hop
guys.
