I wanted to use a particular frame of a film as my desktop picture (The Shining - the quick cut to the butchered sisters lying bloody on the floor). So I loaded up the film into VLC Media Player, found the frame I wanted, and use the PRT SC function. I then opened up IrfanView, and pasted the image. Seemed to be fine. But when I saved the file, all I was left with was a big blob of blackness. The picture had vanished. What did I do wrong and how do I rectify this? |

there's a capture frame function in VLC. use that instead of the old Print Screen button. |

as this thread is now redundant i'd just like to say that i've been enjoying those lennon home recordings quite a bit, particularly the 11minute long 'Serve Yourself' on the 9th disc. so thanks for pointing it out to me. |
