Awesome, a bunch of first-person shooters!!! I'm sure
Bioshock and HL:Ep.2 will be good, and Crysis will at least
look amazing.

I must agree with isnieZot on Spore (if that is indeed what
he was referring to). Spore will be an awesome game, and
apparently Brian Eno is doing the score.

I predict none of them will be 1/16 as fun as 'hell
revealed' for doom2 played on zdoom for windows. That shit
is the apex of gaming in not only our world but the entire
universe (even including the tronkualdites which have 42
gameplaying fingers and 12 thumbs)

I hear that in the new mario game, he can fly. It's probably
just a rumour though.

It's kind of important to see piles of previous corpses
you've killed; that's very satisfying in doom. It doesn't
matter if they're 2 dimensional pictures that don't move
when you rotate around them. Games are the game plus your
own imagination. New games try to do a lot of the
imagination for you. I hate how enemies disappear when you
kill them; can't have corpses lying around cuz it'd be too
3d/and drag the game speed down I guess.

Just about every enemy in modern fps fires weapons with
instant contact (instead of doom imp style slow projectile
shooting which is more gameplay interesting to dodge, even
though they just follow the simple formula of aiming exactly
where you are at that moment even though its obvious you are
moving and will dodge it if you continue moving. You need
whole armies of enemies, not just one lazy easy enemy at a
time. I havn't seen any 'ai' that was very interesting at
all. I already sold 'gears of war' for xbox 360. Ultimately
it was 'meh'.

I'm really looking forward to Alan Wake, Bioshock and
Assassin's Creed (Xbox 360 versions because I don't have a
rig that will do them justice).

Especially Alan Wake because I have no idea what kind of
game it is at all but it gives me Silent Hill vibes.
Assassin's Creed because I'm still mourning the death of the
Thief series and this looks like the next best thing.

Awsome if you like shooters a lot. I do enjoy them but I
tend to get bored of them really easily...

I'll take me some RPGs instead... speaking of which I'm
gonna go run out and get the new WoW expansion right now

What about...

Supreme Commander?
Dragon Age? (well, might not make it)
Command & Conquer 3?

Anyway, the Xbox 360 will have an equally good year, I
think. If not better. I can't way to load up some of the
upcoming RTS-es on my computer, though. Until then, it's
mostly the WoW zone. And that's more than enough right now.
