i also cant remember a few years from a few years ago. my short term memory is fucked and i sometimes have panic attacks in densely crowded areas but thats more likely to be the LSD i used to do to be honest. i dont really smoke it anymore unless im on something a bit stronger and it seems like a good idea at the time. |

I like it, and it makes any activity far more fun and immersive then it usually is, but that's part of its problem. It means that when you're listening to music, playing games, watching movies, or eating out, all you can think is: "this would be a lot better if I was stoned." At least, that's what it has done to me. I haven't heard any other people who use/used it say that. |

I haven't heard any other people who use/used it say that. well here's one. it's all fun and games, and i'm really just content doing anything when stoned, but i feel like i'm wasting my time away by being there. last year i wasn't in a particular good place mentally, i'd just sit on a bench instead of doing something constructive with my time. i'd eat chocolate with hasj in the morning, just a light buzz to get me through the day. it gives some half assed insights into the self but thats probably a side effect of the highly abstract thinking one is capable of. with pot, there's no tendency to change, or learn. big plans, no drive to execute them the next morning. and long time stoners are generally boring recluses, imo. i much prefer a good dose of psychedelics once every n months. so, no fan. but i do miss listening to music in bed, closed eyes. fancy visuals. |

whenever I close my eyes, really, and sometimes with them open when they're open it's usually sign of upcoming migraines, though, or low blood-sugar. When I close my eyes, like, to go to bed or something, it's like fireworks going off in there, stuff wooshing past, shapes morphing from recognisable to unrecognisable and then into something very concrete, etc. |

great, i love you.. i've been worried about fucking up my brain for some time, lately i see similar things, morphing blobs of light, fractal-like imagery, flashes.. maybe a bit like migraine auras yes. i've asked a lot of people about it, they think i'm a nutter, so i try to ignore it. |

at least in your land, it's far less expensive getting high then getting drunk. getting really baked costs equivalent to half a beer at your local bar. do it! personally i've mostly quit it, due to the risk of loosing my job if i'd get "caught" in any way. and that really sucks. now i can only get drunk and violent and stupid like the rest of the squares, since that's actually accepted. |

where are you from, norway? do they do drug tests there too? i thought it was only the usa that tested people for drugs. my urine is probably not showing anything they test for right now, but i'd refuse one out of principle. call me what you want but telling people what to put into their bodies is like telling them what to think. |

yeah, I know the fractals.. kaleidoscopic forms littering my eyes. Try to think about your situation when you have them if you have them with open eyes: are you stressed? Have you been eating? If you have been eating, have you been eating stuff that's high on sugar? Is there coffee? You can have.. eh.. part-time migraine.. you get some of the symptoms, but not the whole debilitating kicked in the body type shit. I once had a migraine that lasted a week, starting with the small flashes in my view, then the next day stuff was moving slowly, etc. However, if you only get it when you haven't been eating or if you haven't been eating "right," it could be more related to blood-sugar levels. |

i like it. smoking it constantly every day isnt very good for your social state, and you end up being terribly paranoid that everyone hates you because they never hang out with you when in reality its because youre too fucking lazy to go outside. also, it needs to be cheaper in the us, or i need to finally start growing in the absolutely perfect crawl space in my half bath/closet. $20 for two days, maybe three if i push it, of smoking is just not financially sound. then again, thats almost what i spend on beer as well. |

well for two weeks after new years eve, which saw a lot of drug abuse, i had walls moving, the caleidoscope thing whenever i closed my eyes, a strange fluffy feeling in my head, and trouble focussing my eyes (which is the weirdest thing, they were focussed okay and my view was as sharp as always but i had trouble 'seeing' things, reading for example required some concentration). the quasi-migraine thing sounds about right, i've had similar episodes lasting a couple of days before. its worse when i'm hungry, hungover or sleep deprived. sleep deprivation makes it real bad, tracers and floating things even with eyes open. i get pretty bad headaches from time to time, but i don't think they are genuine migraines. its not a sharp localized pain, more a dull my-skull-doesn't-fit-my-brain thing. all in all its not that bad. maybe i just notice those things more, it might be a natural background noise thing. |

that's why i added 'in any way'. dunno, it's actually illegal to drug test employees in norway, but i think they have their methods if they want to find out. first job i had, international stuff kinda, i had to pee. anyway, i like(d) the drug, but as jackeroffer pointed out, "getting carried away with it can become pointless. It makes me a generic hippy politically", and i tend to agree with this. i don't want to be a hippy but i think it would be a good thing if more people became a bit more hippies politically. |

if you're buying from a dealer, in my area (santa cruz ca, where amazing weed is abundant and the standard), a gram would run you about $15 usd. other places where the herb isnt as pretty its more like $20 for a nice dub. of course, i hardly ever buy directly from dealers anymore, and instead go in on ounces with multiple friends and split it, or just buying a gram off a friend who happens to have a larger sack. in that case, youre looking at prolly $10/g. |

nice, you live in SC they do have very good marijuana there. Its a shame that most of the dealers are super hippy bros. If you find a good non bro dealer who doesnt want to smoke a bowl with you everytime you purchase something its very cool. |
