I love rugmunching on my gooseberries. For me, it's one of his weaker books: I prefer The Rum Diaries and his collections of gonzo articles. |

Fear and Loathing is a wonderful novel...and SO IS The Rum Diaries... YOu should check out The Great Shark Hunt also.... |

I've only read Rum Diaries. I remember hearing something about the next F & L movie beginning filming. I want to read the book before I ever see the movie, unfortunately they don't have it at my library. I reckon Hubert Selby Jr. books are good as well. I really like his writing style. |

i watched 'where the buffalo roam' with bill murray the other day.. It was fucking rad, clearly less authentic performances than F&L but it was great to see more hunter s greatness on film. Some people really hate it, it is hard to swallow murray as thomson sometimes, but worth watching i think. apparently it was murray's relationship with thomson that gave him his notoriously bad attitude/hollywood work ethic. |
