I love rugmunching on my gooseberries. ASIDE from this I find that fear and loathing is still a quintessential part of our everyday lives, be it in the merry old shithole of Las Vegas or in the book written by me. Hunter S. For me, it's one of his weaker books: I prefer The Rum Diaries and his collections of gonzo articles. |

Fear and Loathing is a wonderful novel...and SO IS The Rum Diaries... YOu should check out The Great Shark Hunt also.... |

I've only read Rum Diaries. I remember hearing something about the next F & L movie beginning filming. I want to read the book before I ever see the movie, unfortunately they don't have it at my library. I reckon Hubert Selby Jr. books are good as well. I really like his writing style. |

i watched 'where the buffalo roam' with bill murray the other day.. It was fucking rad, clearly less authentic performances than F&L but it was great to see more hunter s greatness on film. Some people really hate it, it is hard to swallow murray as thomson sometimes, but worth watching i think. apparently it was murray's relationship with thomson that gave him his notoriously bad attitude/hollywood work ethic. |
