What is your favorite Autechre album?

What is your favorite Autechre album, and why? :-)

Mine is "Amber", because it has nice sounds, though the
beats of "Confield" are even more interesting.

Is it that time of year again when IDMs great and good all
sign up again to take the piss? Where's bill_buroughs to put
us straight?

confusing for my little brain.

confield, without a doubt.

i have yet to hear anything which sounds so mechanical yet
so organic at the same time.

2001 was the pinnacle of "idm" imhotep. everything since
then seems to have lacked some serious imagination which
plagued the "scene" before

Amber, Anvil Vapre, Envane and their remixes. Chiastic
Slide, but I'm a bit tired of it.

Their later material is "interesting", but I rarely feel
like listening to it.

I want to get LP5. I have fond memories of Rae and a few
other tracks, but mostly Rae.

A person permborrowed all my ae except tri rep++ which I
still have. The lp is good and the ep's are great. In the
sky, in the sky. :o)

Hmmm, my appreciation for draft has gone up considerablely.
Not fav though. I think Tri repetae is... Maybe incunabula.

Tri repetae is just atmospheric heave really. I love the
tracks build up without you really noticing for a little
while. Incunabula on the other hand is just very well
written and produced and for me an album that captures a
certain time in my life, a very exciting time.

: )
