Those things are ass. I think coffee loses it's potency
after 24 hours, not sure if vacuum sealing negates that...
but I'll take a fresh pot any day. :)

Oh yes, they certainly lack that coffee kick. I do find that
the taste imbues it with a sort of placebo effect (I get the
same thing with coffee cake), "it tastes like coffee,
therefore it must have the same effects as coffee, therefore
I feel awake."

You mean if someone gives you a coffee with sugar in, you'll
drink it without complaint, but you'd prefer it without?
That's my taste too. I won't ever drink tea with sugar in
though.

oh yeh.. forgot to mention, the 44 ounce "super big gulp"
isn't even the biggest cup they have. They have a "Double
Gulp" or something that I think is 64 ounces.

I just found this nifty drink called "Bazza", high energy
green tea... not so sure about the sucralose in it
though...

Hazelnut syrup sounds real nice. I may look into that...

I tried your concoction and I'm sad to report I am less than
impressed.

It just tastes like cold, watered down coffee.

I'm sure it's not supposed to be like this, so maybe if I
describe how I made it, you could point out where I'm going
wrong.

1. I used a glass pint glass.
2. I filled it 1/3 full with crushed ice.
3. I filled it 1/3 full with normal ice cubes.
4. I filled it to the brim with fresh hot coffee (Douwe
Egberts filter coffee).

I'm thinking that perhaps the hot coffee melted the crushed
ice and watered it down prematurely?

Is putting it in the fridge okay (don't worry, it won't heat
up the fridge- I have a badass one) or should I just leave
it on the kitchen counter to cool?

want?

No sugar in my tea. Just started an Earl Grey bender, after
trying it for the first time at the weekend.

I like my coffee strong and black - the same as Dog_Belch
likes his men.
