Hey ive been messing around with the dBlue Glitch VST in
Live for a while and i was wondering if there is something
along those lines for Mac, ive seen Livecut but it doesnt
seem to offer as much as dBlue's plugin. Any suggestions?

i think the developer of that glitchtool is working on a mac
version, else you can make one yourself in synthedit or Max

yourself

easily? you do need some more then basic knowledge to make
something like that. I know I couldn't when I used reaktor
l(3 years ago)

Not really, there's SupaTrigga, but it's a seriously
condensed version of DBlue's VST.

yeah i would have no idea how to program something like that
in reaktor, i dont use reaktor all to much as of late. i
primarily use reason and live. id like to learn reaktor
better but i cant really find time to try and get better at
it.

Hmmm. I am working on something in reaktor that gives you
the same kind of sound, only more control/ability to
improvise. Except it isn't a sequenced effect, more a
generative break smasher thing that gives you the option to
sequence something in 16 bars with random triggers that
follow certain criteria. Its not that hard to do, it just
takes time to learn and to execute. The more you fuck
around, the more you learn. But its useless if you don't
have a good resource base to rely upon from time to time.
Its really not that impressive when you understand how a lot
of this kind of stuff works. A lot of very simple tricks can
make something sound much more complex than it really is.
