so this is my question: what is the difference between
"cunt" and "twat"?

I ask this because there is a line in Sarah Kane's play
"Cleansed" that Doctor Tinker says: "I may be a cunt but I
am not a twat". What does it mean?

they both technically mean the same thing.

although cunt means more of an arsehole and twat means more
of bellend if you get my drift.
