That's a suprisingly accurate synopsis of a typical day at zilty. I'm sure a half decent programmer could make a handy "offline" emulation of zilty that generated a new page including these things every day. Perhaps, it might slow the rate of these "goodbye", "I'm back after 3 weeks holiday, please pretend you noticed I was gone" and "yes, I know I called everyone pricks and said I was never coming back, but please can you post some comments on my shit new track" threads. Maybe TuneMX could halt work on the search feature (which, incidentally, is now working quite well) and direct his attention to this instead? |

This made me think of an interesting theory on Urban Dictionary. "Scum Possibly the worst word you can have your name associated with. It is hard to define the word, but it is basically used to describe someone so disgraceful that they are seen as the lowest form of life. "Worthlessness" , "waste of skin", "dirt". "Nothing". Far worse than most other insults, where the victim is often just referred to as genetalia. The fact that "scum" is a non-swear, and seen as perfectly acceptable English, makes it even more demeaning and offensive. Cunt is pretty universal. Check the etymology of the term and you'll find it is quite similar in many languages (though the meaning changes slightly) Phonetically, nothing comes close to cunt. Its short, harsh and guarenteed to cause the most verbal destruction. |
