Sounds wicked. I can't afford any more records for a month though. Needless to say, 2 months down the line I'll be kicking myself for not getting it when I had the chance and checking half a dozen online stores a day to see if they have a copy back in stock. ;)

New Burial track "Stairwell" is featured on Kode9's Dubstep Sonar 2007 mix. VERY different to what he has done previously. Quite tribal sounding actually. Not too sure if I like it at the moment.

Don't suppose you have a link to that mix please, mate?
In other dubstep news, I recommend everyone checks out 'delight' by DJ Distance, which is the B-side to the (very good) vex'd remix of Fallen. Okay, delight doesn't quite top the original version of Fallen, but IMO is Distance's second best track.

My feelings:
Good, but sounds like old material. Not enough innovation/progression of his sound- could almost pass as remixes of tracks off the album. I never thought I'd say it, but if he continues with releases like this I could see myself getting tired of the burial sound. From the sound of Stairwell, he's rectifying this. As Brisk says, I'm not sure whether I like it yet or not (but I'm leaning more towards liking it, albeit at a club rather than at home, so the opposite of most burial material), but it's an interesting new direction for him.

Shutta is a really lovely track though. Dunno why that wasn't on the album, it's one of his best.

Excellent new dubstep/reggae track (first one in a while I've really liked): 'I don't give a Dub' (unknown artist, but possibly cluekid and/or cotti)
Have a listen.

Glad you like it and it's awesome that it has been repressed (as a white label again - still no proper release) I was gutted when I missed it the first time it came out. Everywhere (and I did search loads of online stores) sold out really quickly.

Just heard it on a big system and the bass is nice and restrained and sort of whooshes as it comes in. Sadly, the main synth sounds a bit murky and the bell-like hi-hats sound a bit less crisp than they do on a small system. The vocal also sounds a bit 'lost' in the mix. Could this be the first dubstep track to sound as good on laptop speakers as it does on a proper system? :)
Don't get me wrong, still a great track, but it'd be nice if it got a remaster by someone who knows what they're doing if it ever gets a proper release.
