Fucking hell, if you thinmk Chile's a pain in the arse, I
don't think moving to Argentina with all those demonstrative
overreacting pretentious moaning fannies is the answer.

Won the lottery, have you? Cornwall is nice and I'd love to
live there, but you'd best be rolling in cash.

Dog_Belch: Sorry to hear about your problems. I'm very
fortunate to have thick walls and neighbours that are pretty
sound. I can't imagine living somewhere with dickish
neighbours again. If you are coming back to Blightly,
Bristol is a good place. Fantastic music scene and my
favourite nightlife of any city (London included). The
beggars there are well aggro mind. I quite like Oxford
itself, but it's obviously pricey and I've never really
gotten on well with the people there.

mmm, I was in Bristol once with some mates.. At that
circular thing, with all the pedestrian tunnels that go
underneath the busy multi-lane roads, got attacked by some
homeless junkies there. the scene was visually quite like
that infamous one in Irreversible, only like.. nowhere near
half as bad.

Yes, the beggars in Bristol beggar belief. Several times
we've had them follow us. When I lived there a mate got
"mugged" for 50p by one. There was a time when a dozen or so
of the worst offenders were given an ASBO that prevented
them begging in the city centre. Human rights lawyers (on
tax payers legal aid, I might add) got the decision
overturned. Now, I'd be dead against banning all homeless
people from the city centre, but if someone has been
aggressive, or even violent several times, it's a different
matter. There was some stat at the time that if you walked
for 45 minutes from one end of the city to the other, you
would, on average be asked for money by 9 beggars and (I
can't remember this next bit exactly, but I think it's
right) 3 of those would be aggressive.

That roundabout you describe isn't too far from the edge of
the salubrious "St. Paul's" district of the city. A lovely
gun and drug crime ridden area that's more akin to something
from an American film that a British city.

i did The Art of Trance. youve got some really nice tunes
but a lot of them are a bugger to remix cos yourproduction
is so nice and dense. thick like custard.

Awesome work, The Art of Trance was my attempt at doing
something in the style of early AFX and coming well short,
but we can all try, 15 years down the line....

I LIKE THE REMIX

No, you'll have to direct yourself to indeksical's page where
he's erroneously credited me as dog_belch and not Grinning
Ape and I'm not saying I'm cross just that I'm very, very
disappointed.

Is there a procedure for joining the Grinning Ape roster? Or
is it closed to new members? Or Something Else?

What do you mean? Do you want to join my "band"? Do you want
me to franchise the "Grinning Ape" brand so you can perform
under that name? Or do you want to join my "label" (ie
website?) Or do you want to take my collection of fruityloop
fancies and bend them to your own ends? Or do you just want
to be part of the what?core scene? Either way Marl', I'd
have you.
