Can't Angelo Baddalementi just submit the track which Moby
ripped-off and automatically claim first prize?

You mightn't want to when you jump through the hoop of
signing up for Beatport and realise you will have to €1.99
or equivalent for the pleasure of each sample you will use
from the original mix, except for the bass-line and basic
synth.

"We’re offering stems for budding producers to manipulate
into their own unique version of the seminal track. The
first 2 stems are free and the additional deluxe package can
be downloaded exclusively at Beatport.com for just $5."

Poor form, boys. That's the kind of behaviour that passes
Enabling Acts.

ill just download the track off soulseek and chop it up.
mine wont sound anything like the original anyway.

I considered that, but I don't think that'll cut the
mustard. They'll probably want to see the song file before
giving you the loot...

I just downloaded it, it's really not very good...
But that is a nice collection of gear :(
I wants :(

I might do a strange remix of it, using only the free
samples...

Beat me to it. I used to think Go was superb, till I heard
the original and realised how much better it was.

Still, Go isn't a bad tune in my book. I'm damned if I'm
going to pay to remix it though.

I don't really mind Go all that much. I've heard it quite a
lot and there are infinitely better tracks out there, but it
is by no means terrible.

the rainforest mix is great and i cant see any reason to top
that. plus paying for the ability to enter a contest is
stupid

now and again whilst watching "Twin Peaks"
