Please send your demo to :-

SKAM RECORDS, PO BOX 76, MANCHESTER, M45 7XW. UK.

Every demo sent to skam records recieves a thorough
listening to!

Due to the amount, and the way we listen to them means we
can not pass comment on every one.

Many thanks for sending your demo in the past, we have never
thrown any away, and we store them in a very nice cosy
cupboard, so they should be happy.

We understand the efforts you make to produce this music,
and are grateful for allowing us to listen.

Lets look forward to the
future.............................................

it would be incredible to get signed to skam, I love those
guys yet I have a feeling that really my music sucks and
that its nowhere near the skam level.

but then who cares enough to do it? im not sure if i would
do it for anyone else...

i'm downloading your track atm. i'll listen to them when
i've not got a headache. good stuff though, from the
snippets i've heard so far

what's the scene like in birmingham? do you get many gigs?

offline Indeksical from Phobiazero Damage Control (United Kingdom) on 2007-01-08 14:29 [#02028547]
Points: 10671 Status: Regular | Show recordbag

the scene in birmingham is rather shit to be honest. there
are a lot of student electro nights that want you to play
stuff like the klaxons and newer, shitter soulwax but theres
no small to medium sized electronica nights or such like.
drum and bass is the main thing here but there are a few
decent massive techno nights like House of God and Flashback
and also a good hip-hop night once in a while. Its mostly
bars or pubs with mates that you get to play at if your
doing anything different. especially if you want to do live
stuff. your best best then is illegal warehouse raves, which
are the best nights in brum to be honest.

so in conclusion after my driveling birminghams music scene
is shit. in fact its a fucking disgrace considering its the
second city. youre better off going to nottingham and thats
saying something.

offline Arsey Rob from Derby (United Kingdom) on 2007-01-08 14:38 [#02028552]
Points: 88 Status: Lurker

blimey! actually the scene in notts in pretty strong atm and
electronic stuff is just starting to poke though.

electronica in derby is virtually non-existant (apart from
me) but there's a weath of excellent guitar based bands.
it's just a matter time before some of them get
"discovered"

my stuff always goes down well when i play live here, even
though the audience are used to guitary stuff. i think i'm
slowly converting them

if you get a gig and want me to play - get in touch! i'm on
the lookout for gigs all over atm
