Little Suzie goes to school one day to find it is career day. Suzie wanders around to all of the tables to see what all of the professions are like. She sees doctors, lawyers, firemen, astronauts, just about anything you could imagine. Suzie is so excited by this that she can't wait to get home to tell her mom. The day finally ends for suzie and she's so excited that she runs all the way home. She runs right into her kitchen and finds her mom making dinner. She runs up to her mom but she is talking so fast her mom can't even understand her. Her mom gets her calmed down and asks her what she's so excited about. Suzie tells her about everything she saw and finally asks her mom what she is going to be when she grows up. Her mom looks at her very solemnly and takes a deep breath and says "you're not going to be anything suzie, you have cancer" |
