hi i got bored, so i remixed ventolin. here it is: http://www.schocklage.org/luzid - ventolin (crazy inhaler).mp3 i hope, the url works. by the way: - no sampling was used for this track. it's only a virtual drummachine and softsynths. even the scrathing you hear sometimes is made with a synth. so, this track is not only a remix, but a complete new song. i hope you guys like it, and give me some comments. luzid |

Just for future reference, I know from experience people won't bother to listen to your tracks unless you make it as easy as possible. If you put it like, is the file you want, people will be more likely to download it. The song is pretty good, I like the way you got the scratching sound out of a synth. It really is very different to the original, like the remixes are, rather than a normal remix. Worth a download. |

hm, it's more like a re-interpretation of that song. the high pitched sound is there (not the same frequency, as i don't care at all), and the rythm is supported by inhaler-noises. it IS ventolin. luzid |

Hehe im sure that sounded offensive but really it wasnt meant to be, it was just funny sounding. Luzid - Honestly, i think a remix should improve an already great song, that being ventolin. You did not so much remix as much as you just made your own ventolin. Your version is less hectic, doesnt sound as crisp as aphex twins, and obviously not as professional. But, it did sound like their was a really good song in there. I think the song would have been more successful if you would have taken those ideas and put them into a brand new song,,,,,anyways the talent is there i just did not like the overall idea, ya know what i mean??? Well id love to hear some of your other tracks, hopefully complete originals. Nice job overall though, peace man. |

hi d-hex.. sorry, i am a bit late now, hope you read this.. thanks for the review. i don't even know if i like the idea of my ventolin "remix" myself. it was my idea, to make my own ventolin, which should remind the listener to asthmatic inhalers more than the original. that's why i used that noisy sounds (you know? zshhhhhhhh.. like the sound from an inhaler). the melody is shit, though ;) i will record some of my other tracks and put them online, soon. luzid |

hi think i write in english :): luomo is the new project of vladislav delay (which is really great - it has absolutely nothing to do with house - very abstract and subtile soundscapes with weird little grooves - definitely gotta check it out!!) for luomo i don´t know (we didn´t make it to the concert :() ... but it´s widely known as house - someone i know bought his record the other day and loves it - he says it´s not house in the common sense of house ... |
