Free music! (AKA my new release)

Hey,
I finished up my new release the other night, 3 songs, what
I call a mini-album. I did up some album artwork too. It's
called Amplitude Modulated and each of the three tracks is
based around one of the common AM bands.

You can find 192kbps MP3s and the artwork here:
Amplitude Modulated

It's also on last.fm!

I'd be very happy to hear what you think of it :)

-John

you forgot to mention that the first person to decode the
album artwork gets a free copy on vinyl!

These days 6 - 12 tracks is an EP whereas three tracks makes
an album.

I will listen, johnl, to your release
when I am sober
so that I may
give a more proper account
of my attitude towards it

Thank you, Drunken
Mastah. That's probably
a better plan, all things
considered.

Well done :) A quick search on Wikipedia will find you the
context.

Didn't you used to give Tridenti shit for posts like this?

What's good for the goose is good for the gander, etc.

i did, yeah. when they're among other posts that actually
say something, it doesn't really matter as much now, does
it.

I wrote something about the first song and I thought I
posted it but apparently I didn't

basically, it reminded me of Final Fantasy VII, the area
with the mako reactor.. I like it, but it needs to progress
just a little bit more/differently.

didn't like the second one as much, plus it went even more
nowhere than the first one. same goes for the third one.

although your tunes are nice, you basically need to work
more on progress.. right now I just feel the songs are way
too long. Are you using some sort of tracker perhaps?

These songs are very different to my normal work, which
tends to be quite short in terms of tracks (which I can't
release in general).
This was my first real try using Ableton Live, on the
recommendation of a friend.
I liked it, but I think I'll stick with Reason.
