Reminds me of an old thing me and a mate made in "The Games
Factory" (similar to "Klik 'n play"). Basically several
bouncing balls on a screen and when they touched the wall
they each triggered a different clip of audio (some vocal,
some sfx and some "sound collage stuff"- it wasn't very
musical). He developed it a bit further than I did and made
it play different (effectively more rare) sounds when 2
particular objects collided. Might be interesting to make an
automated "jungle breaks" program along these principles in
reaktor.

There's a good website somewhere that does a similar thing
with Dub sounds.
