[Gear] Moog Stage & Waldorf Nano Card

I posted the first part of this in another nonsence thread,
but I decided that its better discussed on its own.

Waldorf Nano

Its a card that you can install into the CME line of midi
controllers, that turns it into a waldorf preset
synthesizer. It allows you to edit the sounds, but I don't
think you can save new ones. Kind of like an oberheim matrix
1000, but without the oberheim matrix 1000.

Moog Little Fatty Stage Edition

Its 100 cheaper than the tribute edition, its all ash/black
with orange LED's, and it has a few upgrades to the OS, like
arbitrary pot assignment and such. I think I am going to try
to get my hands on this one, now that you can control the
resonance and frequency on separate knobs at the same time.

Plus, there is speculation that moog is going to be making a
guitar oscilator moogerfooger. What that means is that with
the oscilator and a filter, you can build yourself a basic
moog modular system for much less than a little fatty.

Thats all I got to say. I am very excited/broke.

Pffft, hardware synths. They can't even run powerpoint. Well
ok, maybe the Neko.

I'm just tweaking your knobs, taxi. The little phatty looks
terrific. It says it has CV in but does it also have CV out?
Cause then you could use it to play homemade stuff like a
Soundlab.

I got a Minimoog D today but it doesn't work so I have to go
through bullshit with UPS in order to get it repaired.

You live in new york. Bet you a dollar you have a decent
keyboard repair technician living somewhere near you, and I
bet you even more that he will be able to repair moog
synths.

No, I think its just in. But you get a cv out if you own a
novation bass station.

Or you can look at assembling something that probly costs
100 from a paia kit. Or you can go the doepfer route. Lots
of options open to you. You just need to make sure that what
you choose doesn't cause too many latency issues.

You want to play that game do you. Fine. I am going to go
and find one of your threads and say something nonsensical.

Would you be so kind as to make a thread so that I can have
my revenge?

You will pay god damn you. You will pay.

Thank you. I feel vindicated. Now everybody can get back to
ignoring my posts.

Statler & Waldorf are the muppet hecklers.

* - Well, they finaly made it to Broadway

- Yup, and I got tickets
- Are they good seats?
- They sure are, they're for the next train out of
town!

* - How do you like the movie so far?

- I've seen detergents leave a better film than
this...!

* - I liked that last number

- Why?
- Because it was the LAST number!

* - Yeah, I liked that.

- What? YOU... LIKED... THAT?! (kicks the other one a
couple of times)
- No... I just wanted to see what you did if I said I
did

* - That seemed like something very different.

* - You know, the older I get, the more I appreciate
good music.

- What's that got to do with what we just heard?
- Nothing, just thought I'd mention it.

* - Just when you think this show is terrible, something
wonderful happens.

- What?
- It ends.

* - These seats are awful.

- Why? Can't you see anything?
- That's the problem. I can see everything.

* - Well, the show is moving very quickly tonight.

- Oh, yes, someone must have told them that it's harder
to hit a moving target.

You want to play that game do you. Fine. I am going to go
and find one of your threads and paste an exerpt from the
muppets. And I am going to do it without checking to see if
the punctuation is correct.

The final part of the troubleshooting section of the waldorf
manual.

I am kind of split on this. Part of it brings me joy, and
the other part kind of leaves me unhappy, due to the fact
that you can't save presets. Its no different than something
like a modular, but still. No presets.
