Me iz all up in dis IMAC duo 2 core tintel dogg me getz paaaayyyyyyed 2 reprezentit
before core duo u really needed a PowerMac G5 dual or Quad tower to check 1080p high-definition movie trailers without da wack audio or video stutters seen on the original iMac G5. on the new iMac, 1080p QuickTime 7 HD videos play smoothly wit out a hiccup. Superman Returns and King Kong movie trailers look phat on the new iMac. brrap brrrrap!

i got a 17" intel core duo imac last month and it's pretty fekkin awesome. the only major complaint is that as standard it is woefully underpowered in the memory department, however if you're getting the larger one it shouldn't be a problem as you get more memory with that. I sorted it by getting a 2gig upgrade, before that it was horrible, you could barely have two applications open without getting the raindow coloured spinny thing every few seconds and programmes like photoshop were just impossible to use.

no probs with my core duo. i love it. the only issues are that some software, like adobe stuff isnt native yet, and thus the current versions run slower.

man the fuckin dome iMac G4 was where that shit was at, with the swivel screen, people saw you on one of those they knew you meant business straight up. the new 20 inch intel iMac looks raw though, saw it at the store the other day, id probably get one if i was to get a new desktop but my 17" mac book pro is my desktop for now.. :-\
