rumble roses
rating: SUCKS
The menus were such a maze I thought navigating through them
was the gameplay. I got to some screen where you can
apparently change how your chick looks; I moved the model
down so I could see more of her ass then didn't give a fuck
about this feature anymore. Finally I made it to the end of
the maze and saw a cutscene. I skipped it as soon as I
figured out how, but then ANOTHER one started for the 2nd
battler. I skipped it too... then TWO more. Finally it got
to a loading screen and the game froze. I'm selling it now.

final fantasy xi online
rating: SUCKS
I got to some screen full of menus. Apparently it is online
only or something, who cares, it's too confusing to figure
out how to play if it isn't. Selling it.

dead or alive 4
rating: SUCKS
the same as all of those playstation 1 fighting games. You
basically have 2 button choices and tap one of them
repeatedly to fight. you could literally play it with the
same chance of winning with your eyes closed. There's some
sort of blocking counter throw or something but it was too
confusing to bother figuring it out.

full auto
rating: SUCKS
I think there was annoying guitar music. You drive a car.
It's so boring. I don't care enough about it to describe it
further.

call of duty 2
rating: SUCKS
a first person shooter where the default is havning up/down
on the controller reversed from what they should be, and you
can't change it. Fuck it then, next.

x men
rating: SUCKS
wtf, you start as wolverine, then iceman, then fagman, it's
like you have to go through a training mode for each
character. too many moves and crap to bother memorizing, not
fun. Just a big bloated stupid game like the rest.

tomb raider legend
rating: SUCKS
ugh,... ugh, you walk around and jump on ledges and move
those standard size boxes that are in every puzzle since
playstation 1. You try to find artifacts, who cares.

fight night round 3
rating: SUCKS
slow boring boxing game w

w announcer who says stuff like 'he just threw an uppercut
with the force of a truck behing it!' and stuff when it
looked more like a slow boring punch.

*I* can program a better game than all of those combined,
and my programming skills are somewhere between 'wtf is
coding' and 'hello world'.
Every one feels like it was released 2 years early to make
money on it already.
This is the next generation system everyone is raving
about?
I still have kameo, quake 4, perfect dark and oblivion- they
are the ones that didn't immediately suck at least so will
play them more carefully (quake 4 has repeated cutscenes
that are unskipable and it's saving was too confusing so now
I'm way at the beginning again because my save disappeared.
Ultimately it hasn't been all that fun so far, just fairly
ok)

Ok, there are some good games; kameo is great so far. Like a
pixar film you can play sort of. The gameplay is nice and
the visuals and quality of everything is excellent.

Controlling cameras in such games is always agravating. Star
fox got me used to up/down being reversed, and often it even
feels like right/left should be reversed. It could be either
because if the camera was in your characters head pushing
left would cause you to see more towards the left (as if
character was turning that way), but if you think of
controlling the camera 360 degrees around the player pushing
left would make you see more to the right.

rating: SUCKS

Why didn't anybody warn me? Nothing compared to Daggerfall
or Morrowind. This game is a piece of shit and bubblegum
stuck to your shoe.

aw, damn. That girl on tech tv or whatever did a funny
youtube video review of it. She jumped her character on a
table where everyone was eating and messed up everyones food
then made some comment about how they weren't programmed to
give a damn.

I like lolo's 4 letter password system. Let's trade maximum
security for only having to enter 4 letters... there's this
one zelda II clone that had
upper/lowercase/numbers/letters/characters... 1's look like
L's, 5's look like S's, 0's looked like o's and O's etc. It
was so 'secure' I bet 90 percent of the codes written down
were incorrect and didn't work. Anyone who beat it has to be
more of a master at reading their handwriting and knowing
which symbols are which, not the game.

i once wrote down a password for megaman 2 and somehow
messed it up. id be hopeless with anything more 'secure'.
all this said, megaman 2 has awesome password music.

If you don't like any games on it, maybe buy a Wii or a PS3.
If you do, let me know how they are and if they're worth the
price.

Also, try some good games. Gears is pretty good, Dead Rising
is worth it if you can get a cheap copy, if you like racing
games PGR3 and Test Drive are good. But then again you
probably should have figured out if you liked games before
you bought one.

Yeah, I bought this as a lot because it was cheaper that
way, so didn't choose most of the games. I'll almost
definately check out gears of war, and maybe some of those
others.

Megamans password system is cool if you just write:
1r
3b
instead of drawing the whole thing. And all the megaman
music is superb; i was listening to bubblemans midi a lot,
airman is excellent.

All those games suck except Call of Duty 2. I can't believe
you like Quake though, that seems like a game you'd hate.
Gears of War is pretty easily the best game on 360 and
possibly the game of the year. I loved Oblivion, though like
all Elder Scrolls games it's flawed up the wazoo.

You REALLY have to like FPS' and shooters to like the 360,
because it doesn't have a lot to offer beyond that. The
future looks better though. The first year of any console
always sucks.

Do you normally play where pressing up makes the screen move
up or down? Maybe I should give call of duty another shot,
but that is really annoying to get used to since I have to
unlearn what I'm already used to.

I don't see how someone could not like Oblivion. For me it
was pretty easy to look past whatever was wrong because it
was so fun to play. Of course it did get old eventually. I
hope the new Zelda doesn't suffer the same fate. Has anyone
played very far into that yet?

What do you mean, inverted vs non-inverted? As in, pressing
down makes you look down instead of up, like Goldeneye? I
can only play console FPS' with non-inverted controls these
days. Press up, look up, press down, look down...

The only game I'm playing right now is Final Fantasy 12 and
you have no choice but to play with inverted controls, it
drives me batshit crazy.

Lumious- Oblivion is great, yeah. But the thing with games
of that size and scope is that they stretch themselves too
thin, certain aspects of games like Obilvion and GTA and
other ''sandbox'' games are always unpolished and crude. But
I loved it anyway... though admittedly for often shallow
reasons. It's just... pretty. It's immersive. It hardly
improves on Morrowind at all but I liked it ten times more
just because it's not so ugly.

a classic:

"final fantasy xi online
rating: SUCKS

out how to play if it isn't. Selling it."

You should have instead tried final fantasy xi offline,
that's offline only or something, who cares.

To hate TR Legend you have to hate the series, though, since
it's one of the best installments in it.

Oblivion-
This game is so fucking bland I cannot believe. It is
puke-tastic. It barely looks any better than Morrowind.
There's just NOTHING anywhere, to see or do. A bunch of
interior environments where there's nothing you want to
touch- it's all hazy like out of a commercial for diamonds
with a 50 year old actress who needs fuzzy light to look
glamorous anymore. Outdoor environments are repetetive and
there is almost no variation. People are godawful ugly but
that didn't stop Daggerfall OR Morrowind from being great.
Every square foot of Morrowind was in place- there was
something to see, inspect. There was not so much random
filling. Oblivion is horribly botched in this sense. It
seems like they spent the most time creating fucking INANE
conversations with NPC's they all sound the same they take
forever to say the most pointless shit to skip through. Yet
they took the time to have voice actors voice EVERY SINGLE
WORD. ANd give them little routines. Yes there are 15
people per 'CITY' which you will find in different places,
standing around, acting like a mindless NPC. It's more like
Morrowind than Daggerfall of course, in it's structure, but
it's like they have higher resolution surfaces, some
lighting tricks and that's it. They changed the combat
system from Morrowind to a more interactive one, which is
all right but it doesn't make the game. It just shows a
great lack of care and I can't see how anyone could be blind
to this.

COD3 is even better. I think. At least the first few levels
I played, it starts off cooler than COD2. I asked Santa for
it.

Another really glaring flaw in Oblivion was the voice
acting... I mean they literally had like 3 voice actors for
the whole thing, it's inexplicable, like they had absolutely
no budget left or something. Just go with text and save
voice acting for key scenes.

Try Gears of War or Dead Rising, those are pretty decent.
Also, download Castlevania: Symphony of the Night when it

digging Morrowind right now. Im a bit behind the times
perhaps but its even been getting into my dreamscapes ...

For xbox360 games I've been really digging Crackdown...

the game is madness. That and Gear of War, but I only play
it online with some of my old work buddies.... I haven't
even really played the game....

other then that.... hmm.... i don't play much. Obivion is
still fun... but now that I've finished it, it's boring
