Any Active Suspension fanbois here? I've just listened to (and love) Hypo, but wanna hear more from this label, and especially O.Lamm. If someone can link some soundclips it would be nice. The otherwise mighty Boomkat, can't help me with this.

Oui!!!
Especially Domotic.
His MYSPACE
"Ask for tiger" is reccomendable. It's not a brilliant album, but it has some really outstanding tunes, thats worth it all.
My favourite track, Video
And Hypo, yeah. Very nice!

hahah, that video is like electronic emo
but I found some samples of Hypo - Karaoke A Capella on cduniverse (and probably some more from other artists on this label), and I can't seem to make up my mind about it... some of it sounds great, but there's something.. I don't know. I'll just check some more samples I think...

We...ell. Not really my cup of tea that video. Not a fan of that electropop-sound. The tracks on his myspace-website sounds decent. Gonna try to SLSK and Oink some tunes of Domotic and O.Lamm. Also gonna try to get my hands on the last Hypo album. A collaboration with some EDH with the funny title "The Correct Use Of Pets". If it sounds like "Karaoke A Capella" and "Random Veneziano" I will be happy.

I'm not surprised you don't like him actually. But it's alright.
We can still be friends.

Coolio. I haven't checked that one out.
There was this excellent MTV show, where they did profiles on some really cool artists.
One of them was only about active suspension, it's trough that program i know them.
They also did some other, very very good programs about various artists. I also got to know about Khonnor trough that. (probably not your thing either, but handwriting is one of my favourite albums)

I watched a MTV-show about Hypo. I guess we're talking about the same thing. It was right after I listened to Hypo first, and was kinda surprised to see him on MTV. I thought he was more known than he really is, and started a topic about him, but not much feedback from other XLT'ers.
I've heard about that Khonnor show, but didn't see it. I got the CD he released on Type. I like it. More like singer-songwriter-ambient

Ah, cool. We must be talking about the same thing. The Khonnor show, i saw it by total accident, and i was hooked as soon as i heard 10 seconds of his music.
Handwriting is beautiful, i think. It just struck a chord with me. It was completely how i felt when i listened to it for the first time. Unhappy love, being stuck in the same shit, cold weather. It was the soundtrack of my life for 3 months.
They did something about Tenniscoats as well. Odd japanese band. Actually, that whole series whas pretty damn good.
