did you know that voluntary hyperventilation can be pretty fun? you deplete your blood of all the carbon dioxide, raising the bloods' pH value and temporarily turning off your breathing impulse. sit down on your bed, head between your legs, breathe in deeply and quickly for 30-60 times, stand up, stumble around and fall over, enjoy. you can then try holding your breath for a while, you might even pass out. that's what a guy I knew did though it was strangulation which isn't too far removed from this; you have someone choke you a bit until right before you pass out and then you feel weird and then you do stuff. He was into it hardcore for some reason (he always was a bit off), and one day he tried it on himself by himself using a rope. As there was no-one there to "let go" he died. We're pretty sure it was more or less intentional, though, but you never know.. maybe he thought he was just going as far as almost passing out, but then stuff like that's hard to control. |
