Alex Jones is a fucking crackpot, and anybody who pays
creedence to what he alleges really needs to rethink their
beliefs.

I heard they are can fire masonry out of their pupils, and
if their bare heels touch the earth's surface they
evaporate, which is why they always wear shoes with thick
soles...

Dunno about in other countries, but by and large, the
Freemasons here are no more sinister than the Rotarians.

The power they have is fairly limited, as much as we
criticise the govt. and the system, (partly thanks to the
internet) we have a comparatively transparent government
(both central and locally). This really stops them letting
people off completely for serious crimes, etc. Sure, a
magistrate who is a fellow mason might confer a less harsh
sentence on the accused, but if they were letting all masons
off the hook completely, all the time, there'd be a great
deal of evidence that it was happening. Which there isn't.

My understanding of it is that it's largely a "favours for
favours" drinking club for men. Yes, they have funny
uniforms and mottos etc. but so do the scouts and that's
hardly percieved as some world ruling cult. As an aside,
there's a perception that it's the preserve of the
middle/upper classes (probably where all the rumours of a
ruling elite stem from). This isn't very accurate; go to my
town's masonic hall and you'd see as many taxi drivers,
builders and farmers as you would councillors and lawyers.

Gnositicism, they believed that there is no one way to God,
but rather whatever truths may lead you to spiritual
fulfillment is the proper way. I know they used to rotate
jobs ie who was the priest and who read by casting lots.
yeah they too believed that the god of the old testiment was
actually someone evil and he also created the world so
therefore the world is evil. one must free themselves of
all vices connected to this world in order to know God. To
them its all a much more personal thing. I guess some think
John the Baptist was actually Gnostic. If thats the case
then its could tie to the freemasons, with their skull and
cross bones symbols

they are probably all dead, but had ideas and plans and
carried a lot of these in the past.

i met a girl whose parents are in the rotary club, i thik
it's just a club for rich people to know each other.

here in mexico there's this "secret" organization called 'El
Yunque' (the anvil), it was born as an ultraconservative
group that planned to make mexico a neo-franco like state,
they hate masons, now i think it's just an agency to make
favors, like, if you are n el yunque you'll have a good job.
they have some power in local goverments and word is they're
taking control of the presdency..

we'll see...
