http://xltronic.com/mb/93132/yeah-theres-a-bug-in-your-sear
why did this thread ( ch-thing ) get locked and the
starting post deleted
I don't understand... I would understand if there was like
an admin post in the last post explaining "locked because of
xx"
if I broke some rule by pointing out the search bug I am
sorry

eventhough Ididn'tdoit, that post (and this thread, perhaps)
makes you sound like you're taking the interneft too

well, you wouldn't, as you are the butt of the "joke"

your confusion is charming and enraging simultaneously, you
don't understand what you've stumbled upon, which is a
wealth of weirdos, dumb dumbs and geniuses all living at
odds in the zilty universe. In addition, you take seriously
what shouldn't be taken seriously (despite numerous "stop
taking ____ so seriously"s)

the reason your thread was closed is, I assume, because it
was of absolutely no worth beyond watching dog_belch
belittle you, which I believe is worth very much, but
officially that sort of thing is frowned on

like so: :c

We all know the search function's history is a bit
precarious to say the least, so your (ill-formed) thread
concerning it really had no relevance to anyone but
yourself.

But I agree that moderators should not delete initial posts,
or close threads without explanation--but I also don't
particularly care, and sometimes it's funny (like right
now)

that's supposed to be a followup to Mr. ULCRESH.

and that's another thing, learn to use the followup feature.
Quick lesson: to reply to a specific person, click the
numbers following the date of the post.

explain why my post was deleted... was there something wrong

I will summarize the situation for you in logic any
collection of neurons greater than seven can parse.

there are two cases:
1) you are trying to troll, and hence annoying
2) you are retarded, and hence annoying.
In both cases, you are annoying.

therefore the action was justified.

search worked for me when i used it.

Olivine composition is often expressed in terms of the
percentage of the forsterite end-member. For example: Fo87
means a composition of 87% forsterite (and 13% fayalite). A
second solid-solution series also exists between Fe and Mn
end-members.

Monoid whines about a variety of topics, e.g. DXM, wanking,
boredom.

This guy whines about just one thing. His locked thread.
