I don't read Japanese and I'm not going to play this until I can do it in English. But I've got the ROM and the soundtrack and everything and the music is better than anything else talked about on this forum. But not as good as Mother 2's. |

Fans are working on the but I try not to think about it. Who knows when or even if it will be finished. Don't think there's any word about an official translation. And it's a horrible shame, this is the best video game series around. |

at least i have a feeling that a fan translation is as good as, or even better, than an official one, since it is made by hardcore earthbound appreciators... at least i hope so |

True. It doesn't need to be perfect either way, the humor translates strangely into other languages anyway, different cultures. That just makes it even funnier. And no I don't have a PS3, but if I had the money, I would. And I'll get one ASAP. Probably be able to get a Wii though. Too bad there's only one game on it I want to play, but then again it's the same for the PS3 (Resistance- Fall of Man). Still, as bad as launch investments are, I don't care and I really lament not being able to take part in the insanity. |

I own 12 but because of midterms its just sitting there collecting dust...im so depressed How is 12 btw? Earthbound 2 is one of my favorite games ever, the runaway 5 was incredible |

XII is great, probably end up being my favorite since VI. Gorgeous graphics, more appealing characters than X, really colorful gameworld... and the battles, after you gain enough abilities and learn all the little tricks, feel damn good. So much better than the old random system. But the music hasn't made much of an impression on me. I'm just not a big Sakimoto fan. It's really solid but has a really ''workmanlike'' feel, lacks all the various styles and sounds Nobuo used to use. |

Gorgeous graphics ARTISTICALLY, I mean. Of course it's a jaggy 640 x 480 mess and I've been spoiled by HD and Gears of War and everything, but the artistic design in XII is superb. |
