This channel have just advertised a documentary called
'Suspect Nation' and as the background music, they have
used 'Polynomial-C'. I just thought I'd share that with
you.

I'm really p***ing my goodlady of about this habit of
hearing my favourite stuff as background music for TV ads,
jumping from my chair telling her I know who it is, digging
the CD out to prove it - I'm sad like that, but harmless.

Anyone else have the same problem?

not quite, but there is an awful lot of aphex on tv. i heard
a HAB track for the first time the other day, SAW 1 must be
the most popular. most episodes of top gear have some aphex.

Jamesa, I have noticed the car programs tend to use lots of
Warp stuff, Boards of Canada is very popular.

yeah i have the same problem!! i once woke my girlfriend up
because there was this Saab advert and the music was by
boards of canada and i then got the CD out to prove to her
i'm not mad at all. i have made a DVD with nearly all the
adverts that use IDM music (the DVD is full and im already
onto a second one wich will be followed by a third wich will
be only music that sounds like aphex or BOC but isn't
really). if you are interested you can mail me.

happened to me every once in a while when i had tv programs
now it doesnt,
saw a movie once where they were getting it on while nannou
played in the back...
back in the days when i had music television i liked the ads
for the stations best, had some idm/breaky stuff and were
very short but for i moment i would jump up and hope it was
a music video, which OF COURSE it never was...

Indigo optimus - one of my favourite tunes to listen to when
driving, and at full volume too, sweet.

Hi, ijonspeches, what's your avatar? Looks kind of 3D
without wearing the specs.

Don't remove it, it's a good picture.

Stoke City is a football team from Stoke-on-Trent in
England. It's between Birmingham and Manchester. I live in
Stockport, which is near Manchester.

Karl, I can see what living in Stoke-on-Trent has done to
your hair!

I'll be outside Stoke Station, 10:00 next Saturday, we can
meet up and I'll show a nice part of 'Stowke'.
