used to like SFA....but now that IDM has taken overy my
life, i see them as nothing more than an average age old
rock band....so unimaginative...same old crap...some guy
screaming / singing, call it what you will, the same 4 piece
band that has been seen so many times before and heard even
more, the same bass, guitar drums and vocals...crap crap
crap

po{e} its hard to say that your wrong
comparing rock to idm,
people have been making electronic
music since early 1900s beep click
techno and the likes.
SFA are innovative bastards take old stuff and put their old
slant on to it

I'm a bit fed up of goin to see dance acts idm stuff, they
cant get people going like
a good old rock band and thats that

rock not dead :)

I don't see the point in people knocking rock bands once
they've "discovered" electronic music. SFA, rock band or
no, write some damn catchy tunes, combining offbeat
sillyness with good ol' rock classics... So what if rock
bands are everywhere and have been "done to death".
Electronic, rock, the end result is still the same -- music.
And that's all I care about! For me, that means there's
room for both Autechre AND the Super Furry Animals, heh...

Obscure SFA link.

My Girlfriend's mother's friend's husband's music teacher is
Gruff's (of SFA) dad. Now you know.

SFA rock. I've got all their albums and am desperate to see
them live. Seem to miss 'em every time they come here.
