I have Sketchbook. Its hip hop...in a very sultry style...it makes you wanna get up and just go 'aawwww yea'. Its very raw sounding...the production of it seems very very low...especially on some later tracks when things that should sound high are extremely muffled. It just brings a new perspective on sound / drumming...as most of the cd is. Not much 'music' at all...just drums and bass lines. there's little keyboards going on but don't expect to find many hummable melodies. There's lots of 'human error' on it too. I don't know if this was programmed or sampled from live drumming. I guess it's the latter...it sounds real enough. Expect lots of subtle errors as in think of the drumming played by a kid or a beginniner...his breaks at the end of his drum loop arn't very good lol...but it works cause thats the cd's style.
