I love "Poltergeist". it is said that it wasn't directed by Tobe Hooper at all, but more by its producer, Steven Spielberg. Spielberg was in the throes of a rather messy divorce at the time, which according to some can be seen in this film, what with the traditional family unit being attacked by dark forces and all that. |
