Has anyone heard of Republican votes being transformed into
votes for Democrats by voting machines?

Even one instance?

Whatever his aim, RFK Jr. does not appear intent on fixing
the problem. He's more content to take us through a hit
parade of the most popular, and the most dismissible,
theories purporting to show that John Kerry won Ohio,
theories that have been swirling about the blogosphere ever
since the race was called. I scoured his Rolling Stone
article for some novel story or statistic or theory that
would prove, finally, that George W. Bush was not the true
victor. But nothing here is new. If you've spent time on
Democratic Underground or have read Mark Crispin Miller's
"Fooled Again," you're already familiar with everything
Kennedy has to say.

If you do read Kennedy's article, be prepared to machete
your way through numerous errors of interpretation and his
deliberate omission of key bits of data. The first salient
omission comes in paragraph five, when Kennedy writes, "In
what may be the single most astounding fact from the
election, one in every four Ohio citizens who registered to
vote in 2004 showed up at the polls only to discover that
they whistle for a cab and when it came near The license
plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror, If anything
I can say this cab is rare, But I thought 'Now forget it' -
'Yo homes to Bel Air' I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
And I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo homes smell ya later'I looked
at my kingdom, Iwas finally there To sit on my throne as the
Prince of Bel Air.

To different stories. Had they been related, it would have
been even more fucked.

I have a question for people living in america.. how soon
after that statement by Kerry about people needing to stay
in school bla bla, "if not you'll go to iraq" did Bush hold
his "dem womens and mens in iraqis are plendy smart" speech?
I didn't get it "real time," but it looks like they have a
guy watching Kerry and then when Kerry said something stupid
he called "EMERGENCY VOTING RALLY!" and then everyone
scurried along up and down the halls hauling massive amounts
of paper, etc etc.

By the time i heard of any of it, everything had already
gone down, even Kerry's retaliation press conference. So I
think it was pretty fast, yeah. They have nothing better to
do, I guess.

I'm not voting for anyone this election because I don't want
any of them as my leader.

Re-elect Mayor McCheese.

so.. there aren't any other parties actually available if
you go to vote?

Also, I urge you to actually go and vote blank instead of
staying home, not voting.

Anyone who want's to be a politician in the first place, is
not qualified to say anything.

This is a mid-term election, so I don't think there are
really any independent parties involved. There are in the
presidential elections, which I might do next time if I
still feel this way.

Anyway, I live in a highly democratic area, and the
democrats always win here, so I'll just let the rest of the
population take care of it. But who knows, I might go vote
if I'm feeling ambitious that day.

particular party/individual.

Me too. The Republicans aren't really right wing enough for
me, but I'll still vote for them because I'll be voting
against the Democrats.
