can anyone tell me why my webpage will not work? It's a
very simple page using javascript to show or hide differen't
divs. It works except with the portfolio div, which will
not re-hide itself when you click on something else. The
only thing different about the portfolio div is that it
contains a table...

Does this work, I removed a clause in the
registerDescriptionDivs javascript that specified if the div
had the class "description", so it was missing out the
portfolio div that has the class "portfolio"....

ooo thank you very much. I know nothing about javascript so
I was just sort of winging it based on some other site's
code.

anus update: I pooped what appeared to be after-birth for
the doctor. She wasn't impressed :(

that's odd, now the bars containing my name and the little
gif image on the bottom disappear if you click on
anything...

is there a way to keep the if clause and just add the
"portfolio" class. I think all the other divs are now
hiding themselves

nevermind, I got it to work. I just got rid of the
portfolio class and tweaked the description class to make it
work for everything

Yeah, sorry that would be the answer, to say if the div was
either Description or Portfolio, as oterhwise it'll cycle
through all the DIVs and turn them invisible, as it were.
But we got there, in the end, huurah!
