The Middle Of Everywhere: The World's Refugees Come To Our Town, by Mary Pipher.
We've been reading this for an English Comp. class. It's really like log almost, or a collection of stories by a woman from Lincoln, Nebraska, United States (recycle town). She helps immigrants and talks to them, to get stories.
I think it's great because of the insight it gives us on how things are. This is way better than the "30 Days" series on FX. Beats reality TV by a long shot. And, i would suggest this to all of you.
