so, did you get out the popcorn and all that too? Goodness,
it's not like a sitcom or anything... I watched it, but I
wouldn't call it an "excellent piece"... it was news, and I
wanted to know about it...

but i did watch it.

i turned the tv on 10 minutes before the second crash... I
saw that second plane in direc... (it was at 3:05 pm here in
spain...the newsteller time) since then I didnt move from my
TV in 8 hours... it was horrible... and it still is... as
everything that happened after that in afghanistan

I saw it live on TV. I don't want to watch it again, the
people who died have become trivialised and I don't want to
feel detached about human life again.

it is horrible... I'll always remember it I think... I
remember when all the Columbine stuff happened... that
TOTALLY freaked me out, cause I was in high school then...
I'll never forget that either...

Have you guys heard people on tv say

"People go to ground zero like its some kind of tourist
attraction, whats with that?"

or something to that effect? I think that sucks, people
arent going to ground zero to see something cool, or see a
bunch of rubble and boddies. Im sure every single person
that goes to ground zero has a personal moment with
themselves and is probably changed forever.

my brother is down in New Jersey now working, and he was up
here last weekend... anyways, he said that he went to ground
zero, and that he had to get a ticket... I was like "What,
you had to pay for a ticket?" but they didn't have to pay...
but seriously, I wouldn't have been that surprised if they
did... "Oh, lets make some money off of this, and maybe can
use it to build a new stadium!!"...

yeah, that's the reason... but first when he said that the
first thing that I though was that they were trying to make
money off of all this which would be pretty lame...

9/11 Hasn't screened here yet but they did show some parts
on the news tonight. It's all very sad...

There was this British programme a few weeks ago screened
here called How the Twin Towers Collapsed. It was very
interesting, ultimately blaming the floors for the clapse.

It's mind bending to think that people could actually think
about making money from such a tragic event.

Not long after the WTC attack happened people wear trying to
sell debris and stuff on Ebay. I remember thinking Who the
fuck would do such a shitty thing like that. I was so angry.

murder, with the excellent dick van dyke. i wish they would
release it (9/11 not diagnosis: murder) on video, because i
would certainly pay £14.99 for my copy.

Unfortunatly, because the threat of Terrorism has rarely
occured on US soil. I think that although some reaction was
neccisary, they still are killing people to find the
culprits.

Tony Blair (UK Prime Minister) Said something quite poinent
after America's call to arms against terrorism.
"Yes, we are more than happy to support a war against
terrorism. Now can the people of New York stop funding the
IRA."

hey was it all repeated or something? i saw a documentary on
why the structure and some kind of fireproof walls caused
the buildings to collapse, but no repeat of the actual
event.

they will probably release some kind of video, because
historic events deserve to be freely available and all that

we will never "wipe out all terrorism"!
terrorism is just a CONCEPT, you cant get rid of it

terrorism isn't some specific organisation or company.. it
doesn't have a fucking registered trademark

its what happens when repressed people... or people with
some sort of cause want to change something, and are
frustrated cus its not changing
or when they're rebeling against something they think is
wrong
or fighting for something they think is right

as long as people live in those conditions, there will
always be terrorism

im sick of these niave people who think a few military
operations will somehow stop people from resorting to
terrorism forever
u can kill terrorists but u cant kill terrorism

i watched it...i think it was pretty good to see everything
that happened from a different perspective...the news
coverage that actually followed the events back when it
happened was rather impersonal...seeing constant replays of
the impacts/collapses...it was nice that this show focused
more on the people involved and the conditions they had to
endure

and about lil bow wow and lil romeo...they really annoy
me...they seem so cocky...i hate cocky little kids...i
watched that show about lil bow wow...he doesnt seem to have
any real personality...he seems more like a puppet..a
product ...sad really..

i got the news before i went to school that day. i still
recall all the stuff that day vividly.
i still think we need to focus more on the conflicts in
Israel & Palestine because those have been going on for
years and are a probable motive for the 9/11 attacks in the
1st place.
