Just dont get it. Cant even say if they are good or bad. They just are. I have never been so impartial and non plused about any RDJ release. Is it a good thing or bad? Am I missing a trigger somewhere that will make me going BOINGG and gush allover these releases? Is this the way of the future for RDJ? Then am I over my 10 year love affair with the beardy one?
Help me out I have been away and out of the loops, what am i missing?

I have my complete music collection on random play all the time........ whenever an analord track comes on I always have a good reaction to it, therefore, to me, they are quality releases.
Maybe you just think differently.
It's ok not to like an artists releases.

Yeah they are a quality retread of the old waters. Polygon Window was fresher, AB3 was louder etc, etc.

I think you have to know a bit about how electronic music is made to truly appreciate it. Well, maybe its an appreciation on a different level. Not unlike knowing everything about how wine is made. Im sure a guitarist enjoys Hendrix on a different plain than the average cunt, but feeling the textures and sensing the emotion in a track doesn't require technical knowledge so enjoying music isn't reserved for the gear heads exclusively, but it opens you up to a new respect for the artist.

doesn't really matter how it was made..adds to it, but it's all about the music in the end. though when you think if there's anyone else who would be able to produce something like that with same equipment..i think not.

People made great tracks with just "hardware" and "gear" for years, I don't know how this perception has arisen that the only person able to do it now is RDJ. What about all the great "analogue" artists?
I recently listened to Analords 1 - 11, in their entirety, I concluded I like 1 and 2 very much, there's too many tracks though, and a fair few are actually fucking annoying.

you can do different things with hardware..there are other people who use it nowdays and lots of them do nice music, but still there aren't any that would compose the songs this way..or i just don't know of any.
