you need to sample some congatronics to replace the african
loop and stop using those crappy snares to freshen it up.

yeah im aware of that album. they run kalimbas through
distortion. i dig the album - but im not losing my shit
over it.

oh - which african sample was that?

the gamelan record [indonesia]

or

the indian belly dancing record [from india]

and the crappy snares are lifted from kraftwerk. so id take
it up w/them.

go back to the kids table and let the adults talk, please.
and wipe that mustard off your shirt.

so what you're saying is - lift samples from every
electronic act you admire, put all the samples into one new
track and it will rule the world?

yes CLEARLY that is what im saying.

[?!]

somebody was talking about replacing my crappy african loops
(there were no african loops) and crappy snare sound (from a
kraftwerk drumbank) and i just wanted to point out that they
have no idea what they are talking about...sorta like you,
mr moderator sir.

bc

i rarely use samples - unless im doing remixes. theres over 200
tracks there - and probably about 2% of them have samples of
any sort. in fact, im quite certain you use more samples
than i do. by far. so im not sure what the hang up is...

so i look forward to the reply that says:

SO WHAT YOURE SAYING IS - YOU HATE PEOPLE W AFROS.

[or some other biazarrity that has nothing to do w/ what im
talking about]

i really don't think i need to say this but

just cause it's kraftwork dont make it good

but I'm not sure.
