LOST: season 3

Very close now.

I'm really glad they got rid of that spicey attitude latina
cop last season. I hated her so much that I was about ready
to quit the show.

There's going to have to be a new "catch" this season
because the backstories are becoming a little stale. They
were great in season 1 when all the characters were still
new to us, but I was unimpressed with the season 2
backstories of Kate, Hurly (wtf was up with that psych
ward?), and even Jack.

Sawyer and Locke hold up as my favorite characters, with an
honorable mention to Claire who'se growing on me a little.

I'd have shot Bernard in the face, goddamn, I'd have shot
most of them from the Tail section. And Michael "My boy my
boy" fucking hell we get it. There wasn't enough Sayid in
season 2, though his "flashbacks" were good. Looking forward
to getting the boxset of Season 2 when it finally comes out
here on .. Thursday. And then weeks of downloading Season 3
of course when that starts.

haha, yeah if they kill off the hobbit and michael stays
gone season 3 will be pretty cool.

shannon sucked, the mean latina sucked, the bug-eyed blonde
that wanted to do hurly sucked... and they all got offed.

is it too much to ask that the hobbit & michael get axed as
well?

the Matrix too.

Ha! I was thinking "Which one's The Hobbit....?" , ..
finally I twigged. His character was better in Season 1, but
in the second he was just.. annoying. Shannon was pretty
grim as well, I wasn't sorry when she took one in the guts.
In fact, everyone who gets shot seems to get shot in the
stomach. Apart from Ethan Rom, who got shot a lot, possibly
in the stomach.

I hope they start getting a bit more action in this series.
Also, they need to stop trying to be clever and just start
explaining things. It's getting annoying now that they
pretend they're going to explain something but it's actually
just more cock teasing,.

It got a bit boring that people wouldn't tell each other
things that had happened as well, for no good reason, IMO.

Hopefully they'll end Lost with this series, and then if
they want to carry it on somehow, make a spin off series
like The Hanso Foundation Presents or Hurely & Company or
something.

After making the first ever Lost topic on the board and
loving the first season, I missed almost the entire second
season because... well I don't know. I missed a couple
episodes and it felt too daunting to get back into it. But I
watched the season-two-in-a-nutshell special the other day
and I'm psyched for season three. I'm glad Michelle
Rodriguez is dead.

M-Rod was grody.

Season 2 started off strong and ended strong, but the middle
fucking dragged something fierce.

Just got finished watching S3:01

There was more on the Others while ANYTHING could be a
facade. That being said, it's kinda disappointing the
commercials were almost as long as or longer than the
segments.

This is coming after a serious week long binge of watching
season 1 & 2 back to back and getting used to no breaks.

I liked the begining, that was unexpected. I love the show,
I really do.. I hope, if they're going to milk it for 5
series, that they wrap up the main story in this season, and
then for another two, shift it sufficiently to something
else, off of the Island maybe, I guess it depends on.. how
the story works out.

I am available for hire for advice on big budget tv shows,
and indeed, minor repairs and cleaning.

have you actually watched the show, or do you just enjoy
making sweeping generalizations?

The premiere this season was pretty good... again I was a
little unimpressed with Jack's backstory. I'm more into it
when the backstories connect to the mysteries of the Island.

the backstories are ok i suppose. at least jack's. but they
only have them because what happens on the island is so
crap. the rest of the backstories are cliche-ridden

Well at least you gave it a chance. The backstories are the
only part of the show that have really gone downhill after
the first season.

i tried to give it a chance but i dont get it.
one episode i watched all the way through was people running
around in jungle mixed with some romance story, and it was
total crap.
perhaps i should watch first season, but i'd rather wait
until im like 30 something and then regret not getting into
it when it was on telly.
