Does anyone here like house music?

Aqua Bassino, Addvibe, Mateo & Matos, Mikael Delta are cool.
I like deep house.

i agree with chapman, house is amateur generated wannabe
kick-ass electronic musicstyle. it's just for kids who want
shaking at party's, they are not interested in how this
music's produced. it's just like. they produce it for profit
not for the creativity..

and my english sucks.

i dont like that much house... but i DO like daft punk!

'Homework' is one of my favourite albums.. but its different
than afx/squarepuser...etc ("idm", i guess)
i cant just sit and listen to it, like i can w/ these
artists
daft punk has to be background music.. its steady pounding
beat is good to motivate me to work (schoolwork/paid work,
whatever)
it would be great for dancing, unfortunately, i don't
dance....

apparantly ebeneezer goode is the record that ruined the
shaman's credibilty. it was the bassist who drowned.

I don't play it much lately but I like House such as:
phuture: rise from your grave
Jaydee: Plastic Dreams (original version)
Louis Vega: French Kiss
Kenlou: the Bounce

It's a bit like Hiphop: don't like much of the newer
stuff...(too fast/thin)

There's some reall inteliigent complex house music out
there. You just have to be prepared to look for it. I too
hate the cheddar that gets on the radio but underground
house is cool.

I like the deep, jazzy house that people on F-Com, Glasgow
Underground, Nuphonic, Paper Recordings, Soma make. Masters
at Work are brilliant producers. A 4/4 beat is not
necessarily repetitive.

I'm very finicky when it comes to house music, I don't care
for too much of it.....but I can't help but really enjoy
track 4 on Royksopp's Melody A.M. bonus CD.

It's a house mix of 'Poor Leno' and it's really good.

offline Asche XL on 2003-03-26 20:08 [#00618557]

I'm not really sure what house is but I think it's along the
lines of trip hop, techno, trance, d&B. Which I do like all
of those. Get Sasha's new album airdrawndagger if you like
trance, it's good times. Trust me.

'Airdrawndagger' is fantastic. I have a hard time
considering that album clubbing material.

It kind of strays away from it, and incorporates a more
listening enviroment.

Yeah man, I love driving to it or listening to it on some
headphones, it has the perfect balance of ambient, trance
and techno. I can't find a song I dislike on it. A++
