Good morning.
Can you suggest any informational WWII or other military movies ? I own Band of Brothers and will start watching the series again. Saving Private Ryan and Tigerland also come to mind. Could you suggest any others ? Thanks.

It's not informational, but Mrs. Miniver is a good watch. So I haven't been much help.

Informational? Saving Private Ryan ripped off an English story and lets not forget U-571 which informationally ripped off several U boat captures (mostly British) such as U-110 and U-559.

Kubrick's Paths of Glory, even though the body count is modest.
(Where Eagles Dare is actually on my TV in the background as of press time, volume down... Clint Eastwood as a Nazi?)

Yeah actually right after I posted that, Clint turned around and dropped this Kraut with one of those really cheesy 1960's karate chops.

I just found out Peter Jackson is going to produce a remake of The Dam Busters.
I only hope it's four times longer than King Kong, with a slightly longer build up full of inconsequential scenes and dialogue, followed by an 8 hour orgy of CGI dams being busted.

Longest Yard Battle of the Bulge Stalag 17 (more of a prison camp movie) Tora Tora Tora Empire of the sun ENEMY AT THE GATES (this movie owns) Other: Dead Presidents (gives you a real harsh side of war) Hamburger Hill Jarhead (just for Jamie Foxx's first line in the movie, he says What the Fuck as one word... no really takes like .5 sec)

[WARNING: SPOILERS] They eventually escape, using a bath-tub to power a catapault that launches the glider off the roof of the castle (possibly Colditz Castle)....... the pilot and passenger then sing a German song as the closing credits roll.........
