time, maybe once a month for an hour.

Half-Life
Deus Ex
Thief II
Star Wars KOTOR
Unreal Tournament
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

honourable mention:

gran turismo series
metal gear solid 1 & 3
tekken 3
intelligent qube

star fox, mario, and wave race 64
goldeneye
shenmue 1 & 2
mlb 2k5
super mario world and smb2
final fight series

metal gear solid on playstation would have to be my #1, the
rest is too hard to rank

optimus, i'm a little suprised by shenmue being on your
list. from what i remember in the 'now playing' thread you
weren't too big of a fan at the time. i'm assuming you gave
it another chance?

well, though...

it's been an absolute blast so far. i have a few more i'd
like to add anyway...

it didn't, hence no sequel. :*(

Barker also wanted to make a film out of it, I believe -
never happened.

Undying was amazing... great atmosphere.

I want to correct my list... #4 should read:

4. Monkey Island: The SECRET of Monkey Island, not the
escape. Escape was the crappy 3d version that killed the
series.

the first shenmue has always been a favourite of mine, it's
the sequel that had to grow on me enough to enter into 'i
like it' status.

i still really, really want to play beach spikers but it's
utterly impossible to find here. :(

i should point out that phantasy star online is my top
favourite due to my experiences with the online portion, and
that street fighter 3 third strike is my second favourite
because of the human competition that i'm lucky enough to
still enjoy to this day.

Ooh, this is a tough call! Number one is easy though.

1 - Super Mario 64
2 - Xenogears
3 - Final Fantasy VII
4 - Zelda I, III, IV, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask,
Windwaker (+ Twilight Princess?)
5 - Katamari Damacy

I like the idea of "honourable mentions" so here's my cap
off to Tetris, Doom, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Metal Gear
Solid and Sonic.

Just read this on wikipedia:

(on Fallout 2)
Richard D. James, aka Aphex Twin, secretly included one of
his tracks from his album Selected Ambient Works Vol. 2.
Untitled Disc 2 Track 6 "Windowsill" can be heard clearly in
some parts of the game. He may have done this under the
pseudonym EFX which appears in the game credits. It is
unknown why he chose to do this, and what relationship he
had with Black Isle, or even if such a relationship existed.
Some speculation runs that James did not choose to include
the song on the soundtrack, but rather it was chosen for him
by Black Isle.
