port 80 exploit - the tracktitle and the "hitler is dead"
sample - is there a connection between them ? i quit putting
fancy voice samples into tracks long ago, so i didn't like
the sample. but the off-tempo live drummings are cool.

Drubs - fine beats once again...and next in my winamp
playlist was
"helpline operator" by The The of which the intro synth
might be a good continuation part for your track. plus some
bassline coming in ? more bass ! i'm shit at commenting
unfinished tracks, sorry.

Drubs - good beat, my crap speakers don't bring the
tune/bassline out though, so the beat is the only thing i
can hear!

port 80 exploit - good idea with the radio sample, like it.
beat and bassline are good, but they need to go somewhere
else. add a higher-pitch melody to it that comes in later
on, maybe. probably should be a bit longer too.

Hey thanx!

Well, I know the fancy voice samples are kinda lame. But
wtf, I use them.
The connection of those in the song is something about the
media and the propaganda and about find a way through all
the bullshit we face. There's a Hitler speech on propaganda
(backwards). The BBC broadcast on his death. And a port 80
exploit is a hack attack through the internet port. Kinda
destroy the media that tries to make you belive this n'
that. A little messy, but all is somehow connected in my
brain...
But I tell u, it's a weird brain!

And about the bass in Drubs, well, it's work to do.
I always start building the drums.

Lot of work to do on both songs, for sure.
But right now, I'm ultrabusy making a soundtrack against the
tic tac clock...

"The The" is that band from The Smiths guitar player?
Johnny Marr or something?
I'll check for ideas...

drubs.. drums. pure drum songs can get a bit tedious.. you
should do some break somehwere where you drop the drums to a
minimum (kick only?) and fill the room and song with awesome
melodies

port 80: lovely drums, but both these songs focus a bit too
much on the drums...

Sometimes I make too lowfreq bases, and then they don't work
on some systems. I'll check.

And both will be longer and with more parts thrown in. But
sometime in the future...

oh, i get the "port 80" thing now. nah, i don't think using
samples like that is lame....i just don't put much content
into my tracks, that's it.

the the is more like matt johnson's band, but yess ! marr
did excellent guitar work on the the albums, especially on
"dusk"

good luck

Thnx!

Yeah, focus on drums is because that's what I begin with,
and it's a work in progress, so more parts will be there
later as stated.

Great idea on the only kick break!
